Placer County Fair 2012
Carol and I went with a bunch of friends of Carol's friends from work to the Placer county fair Friday the 22nd of June. We had a wonderful time hanging out with Tiffany, Mary, Danielle, and her daughter Audrey.
For the majority of the evening, we just checked out vendors, people watched and ate fair food. Audrey had the chance to see all sorts of farm animals and even got a balloon dog from an 'Animal Maker'. We all had a chance to just enjoy the evening!
One of the exhibits at the fair was a memorial to the event that transpired on September 11th, 2001. The shocking thing to us was the fact that it had been displayed at the state capital until Governor Schwarzenegger decided that it should no longer be on display, with no reason given.
If you get a chance, go to your local county fair. It may be simple, but you will un-doubtedly have a wonderful time.
Happy camping!
Eric and Carol

I love the small town county fairs. Not so much the big ones with all the people.
